A significant step toward strengthening educational collaboration was marked today as Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology - San Isidro Campus (NEUST-SIC), together with Alua Elementary School (AES), Sapang Elementary School (SES), and Schools Division Office of Gapan (SDO Gapan), joined school leaders in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony held at the NEUST-SIC Conference Room this afternoon.
The ceremony gathered education leaders and stakeholders, signaling a shared commitment to advancing academic and institutional partnerships.
Leading the welcome address was Dr. Jean N. Guillasper, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training, and the MOA signing proper was spearheaded by University President Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo.
In her message, Dr. Jugo emphasized that the University views partnerships as a long-term commitment.
“While our institutions serve in different capacities, we are guided by the same purpose, and that is to help shape the future of our students and improve the lives of the people in our community, as well as to strengthen and empower our teachers,” she said.
Statements of commitment followed, delivered by Schools Division Superintendent of Gapan City Department of Education Dr. Enrique E. Angeles Jr., CESO VI, along with school heads Ma. Jasmin A. Reyes of Alua Elementary School and Dr. Reden L. Daquiz of Sapang Elementary School.
Through this partnership, NEUST-SIC, AES, SES, and SDO Gapan reaffirm their commitment to inclusive learning and advancing quality education for all—reflective of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
